Chinese New Year Celebration

We started the first day of the Chinese New Year celebrated by welcoming the lion dancers. The children were waiting with excitement and kept asking when are they arriving? When they heard the drums and cymbals they were shouting "here comes the lion dance"

The lion is looking at his plate of goodies.
The children were wondering what is the lion is going to do?

Instead of hearing the roaring they heard "dong..dong...chiang..."and the lion went around the children for greetings.

Quick...catch the fortune cookies from the Money God!

The lions are spitting out mandarin oranges for good luck, success and prosperity!

It is fun..we can wash our finger when we are done!

So exciting, so this is how we painted pussy willow.

【Mixed】1月の日本語の活動

〔書初め〕

『ねずみ』を書きました。

「かみがやぶれた！」
「もう　いっかい、かく！」と、

納得できるまで一生懸命書いていましたよ。

〔節分製作：豆の箱作り〕

折り紙より大きい紙だね！
鬼の顔を折れるかな？

「チューリップのかたちだ♪」

ちょっと難しくなってきよ。

みんな頑張って！

「できたーーー😃」

いろんな顔の鬼ができたね💓

〔プランターの片付け〕

うんとこしょ、どっこいしょ

「ぬけたー！」

枯れたオクラの茎をみんなで引き抜いて、

土の中の根や枯葉を取り除きました。

土はきれいになったかな？

オクラがたくさん収穫できて良かったね💓
オクラスタンプもできて楽しかったね♪
