[MF] クリスマスツリーの製作

クリスマスツリー🎄の製作をしましたので、ご紹介します。

今回は絵の具を少し水で薄めて、筆で絵の具を垂らして色を塗りました。

えへへ、たのしいね～。

いろいろないろをつかってま～す。

もっと、つけよ～っと。

わたしたちは、あおがだいすき！！

わたしは、えもかいたよ！

わたしたちは、かさねづけしたよ！！

サンタのかおに　いろをぬって、きったよ。

おほしさまもきってるよ。

サンタのかお、どんなふうにしようかな。

はさみをじょうずにつかってるよ。

[TD & N1] Musical Chair Game (Japanese)

The N1 and Toddler friends played the game, "Musical Chair" during Japanese lesson. A Japanese song was played at a time. The children walked around the chairs while the song was playing. When the song stopped, the children quickly sat down on the chair.

While the song was playing, the children walked around the chairs.

"Oh! The song stops. Please sit down."

The song was playing again. The children stood up and walked again.

"The music has stopped!"

"Sit down! quickly!"

"The song starts again. Let's walk!"

"Hold my hand. Don't worry. Let's walk together."

So sweet......😍

After the game, we sang a Japanese song.

The children pretended to be big fishes.

"The Big fish is coming!"

We sang the song, "Head and shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes......

Eyes and ears and mouth and nose,........."

"Good job, doing the actions, children!"

[TD] Toddlers, Let's Play Together with N1 Friends!

Whenever time permits, toddlers will play with N1 friends. The toddler friends had much fun playing together with N1 friends. We were playing happily together in the exercise room!

Children like to play with the balancing ball (half) and the obstacle bridge.

Some children were playing at the balancing beam.

"Don't be afraid. Come and hold my hand. Follow me!"

The children were eager to climb the obstacles.

Slide down, "Wee!"

Some children were playing with rings.

[TD] I like "Driving"

The toddler friends had fun "driving" toy vehicles at the entrance area. Come and join us!

"Slowly, reverse a little more."

" Yeah, you have parked your car nicely!"

It's so fun drawing on the ground using chalks!

"Where are you going?"

"Swimming pool. I think."

Wow! Children your drawing is wonderful!

"I can drive so fast! Ha, ha! Did you see it?"

The car is not moving. Push, Push. I can do it!

"Hello, friend. Can you give me a lift?"

Deepavali Celebration

We had a wonderful Deepavali celebration on last Monday. The children came to school in their fabulous tradition costumes or home clothes! We were so excited and could not wait to eat the Indian snack! What would the snack be this year?

The Legend

The children were told a legend of the Deepavali festival. Paper puppets were used to tell the story. The legend goes, the Demon King captured the Prince’s wife, Sita. The Prince and the Monkey King managed to get rid of the Demon King and saved Sita. The people used oil lamps to shine in the dark so that the Prince and his wife coud go home. That's is why this festival is also called the festival of lights.

"The Demon is coming!"

"Don't be scare. I will protect you!"

These are the paper puppets of the Prince and his wife.

The children were listening well! Wonderful!

The Culture

We talked about the food the Indians ate and the clothes they wore during Deepavali festival. Children, let's name the food together.

Oh! I want to eat this!

It's Snack Time!

We all enjoyed the Indian snacks, murukku and papadum. We gave the children some murukku first then papadum. Some of the children referred ｍurukku and asked for more. They were yummy!!

Wow! The papadum it's So BIG!!!

Drawing using Henna

We had so fun much, thus we were tired. I did the Henna drawing the next day. Henna is also one of the Indian cultures. People drew on others' hands or/and body during festivals. It symbolised good luck. After drawing, it needed to be dried before wiping it with a wet cloth or rinse with water.
