On 4th August, we celebrated Singapore National Day. All the children came to school in red and white clothes.
First, we started to decorate the cake that we have baked the day before.
We spread the white whipping cream onto the cake and followed by the red piping jelly on the top half of the cake.
Next, Mio sensei used the icing to draw the "Crescent and Five Stars" onto the cake.
Wow! Our Singapore Flag is ready for the celebration.
We decorated our school with the craft that the children have made.
We also introduce the traditional toys that we played during our childhood. The children had so much fun playing together.
Now it's time to move our bodies. Let's dance together with the Singapore songs. "Singapore cheers; Singapore Town and Singapura, Sunny island."
We sang a birthday song for Singapore!
Next, we had our early lunch, and of course our Singapore Flag cake for dessert. Yummy!
Kizroo children dismissed early on the day. Our Summer programme children continued with exciting activities.
We had a wonderful time during the celebration!
