After introducing all the ingredients for the "Roll cake", we started off with separating the Egg yolk and the Egg White using our special instrument- plastic bottle!
Next, we used the electric beater to beat the egg white until soft peaks form.
Then, we beat the egg yolk, sugar and vanilla essence together and fold into the egg white mixture.
Sift over flour and mixture them well!
Pour into the baking pan and bake in the oven.
After the cakes have cool down. Spread some strawberry jam and start to roll the sponge cake firmly.
Lastly, wrapped it up with the cling wrap and placed them in the refrigerator.
Tomorrow morning, we will prepare the whipped cream to spread over the roll cakes and the children from N1 can help to decorate the cakes as well.
So excited! Can't wait till tomorrow so that we can decorate our very own "Log cakes!"
