National Day Celebration

 On 5 August, most children came to school in either red or white. We are all ready to celebrate Singapore's Birthday!

First, all children choose their tattoos and tell the teachers where they want to paste. Either on their hands, arms, legs or face.

After that, they put on their "Merlion" headband, which they had made during their craft day for Summer Programme.

We gathered in the indoor area to have our assembly. 

We played some games to see whether the children were familiar with the things associated with Singapore. For example, which is Singapore Flag, and who knows which is Singapore National Flower? Most children chose "Sakura" rather than "Papilionanthe Miss Joaquim", also known as the Singapore orchid, as they are more familiar. 

Now is time to move our body to the rhythm of "S-I-N-G-A-P-O-R-E" and Singapore Town.

Now all the children gathered around the Singapore cake to sing the birthday song together.
