Making Cornflakes Cookies

We have all the ingredients ready for our cookery lesson.

All the children put on their aprons, bandanas and face masks

First, we need to sieve the flour together with the baking powder.

 Next, we crack the egg,

 and add in the vanilla essence.

 Now, we mix the butter and sugar together.

 We mash the cornflakes into small tiny bits

 like this.

Now we add the egg into the butter and sugar mixture.

 Mix it well and add in the flour and cornflakes.

 We mix all the ingredients nicely into a dough. Children help to roll it and press it into round shapes and place it on the baking tray.

 They are ready to place into the oven.

 Hmm... Yummy cookies! Can we have some more please?
